We have a place for you at The Center

Volunteers are at the center of all we do. More than 80 volunteers are involved on a weekly or monthly basis in a variety of meaningful capacities. Since 2005, volunteers have volunteered more than 15,000 hours to help make The Center's programming impact possible.  This level of support is not only good for our budget, but it’s also a good way to tell our youth that we care.

The Center for Whitley County Youth invites you to invest in our community by investing in our youth.

  • We are looking for volunteers passionate about games, sports, crafts, drama, dance, music, leadership development, fundraising, special events, chaperoning, computer literacy training, clerical support, and much more!
  • We also need homework help and meal prep, but most importantly, we need caring adults that can be good listeners, offer encouragement/challenge, and engage on a personal level.

Match your talent and passion to our opportunities here

All volunteers who work directly with youth are required to complete a volunteer application, criminal history check, and initial interview/evaluation for approval.
If you have any further questions about volunteering, contact us or call (260) 284-4977
