ASC-Whitko is an enriching after-school program designed for local 6th to 8th-grade students. Our program offers a safe and supervised environment where students receive homework help and engage in recreational and creative activities.
A typical day at ASC-Whitko includes a free snack, dedicated homework time, opportunities for physical fitness and skill-building, and free time for relaxation and socializing. Our program runs from September through May every Monday to Thursday from 3:10 PM to 5:40 PM.
We also offer similar programs in Columbia City and Churubusco! For high school students, we recommend exploring our SERVE-Whitko program.

What are they saying?
“My son has participated in The Center since the beginning of the school year. They help him with homework, he socializes with friends, and they teach him respect and values. They have helped him become more socially comfortable, and as a mother, I am glad that there are free programs for families”
“In a world that is often harsh and judgmental, The Center offers young people positive role models, compassionate guidance and a chance to embrace their self-worth. The Community Foundation recognizes the significant impact The Center has upon the lives of Whitley County youth. We believe in their mission."
