Youth Ministry Coalition Announces The Uprising Event 2009

On Wednesday, Oct. 7th at Columbia City High School gymnasium, a collaborative effort by more than 10 local youth ministries/churches will host The Uprising outreach event, inviting all Whitley County middle and high school students to participate from 6:30-8:30pm.  The Uprising (www.theuprisingevent.com ) will be a time for games, giveaways, 3 bands, and a combination of nationally renowned youth motivational speaker KD (Kendall Johnson) and local youth ministry speakers challenging local youth to consider their character, their choices, and their faith.  The Uprising Event will also create opportunities for interested youth to connect with caring adults and local youth ministries to help mentor them on their journeys.  The cost is FREE (though donations will be accepted).  Doors open at 6pm.
