Who: 9-12th grade students
When: Every Friday night 8-11pm during the school year (Monthly during the summer)
What: NiteLife began as a collaborative effort by community groups to address the need in this community for positive opportunities during a high-risk time period on Friday nights for high school students. It is free to students and involves weekly themed activities, as well as a youth-friendly environment for hanging out with friends. Open every Friday night at The Center, NiteLife is a great opportunity for affordable, local, and supervised fun. NiteLife averaged over 90 students weekly between 2006-2009. For the month of September 2009, NiteLife average attendance was 119 students.
How: NiteLife is staffed, planned, and supervised by the NiteLife Program Coordinator, NiteLife Leadership Team and 40+ adult volunteers who care about young people.
Summer Schedule: Only 1 NiteLife event each month over the summer. See calendar for June, July and August Events. Weekly NiteLife starts on first Friday of September.
